During the year 2023, the National Institute of Development Administration collaborated with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to drive towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as
- On July 27, 2023, the institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Yunus Center, Dhaka, to establish the YUNUS – NIDA Center (https://nida.ac.th/mou-nida-yunus-center/).

- On August 18, 2023, the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), in collaboration with the Yunus Centre, Yunus Thailand, and the Yunus Center AIT, held the opening ceremony of the YUNUS – NIDA Center. The center aims to support social innovation, social business, and the development of social capital through the participation of all sectors for sustainable development. - During the same period, the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) also established a collaboration with the “Social Business Academia Network” (SBAN) led by Professor Muhammad Yunus, the pioneer of the social business concept and founder of the financial institution to assist the poor in Bangladesh. - On November 12, 2023, the director of the YUNUS – NIDA Center led a group of volunteer students to the Sikhiu Educational Center in Nakhon Ratchasima Province to conduct exploratory research on community situations, community problems, and community needs. This included gathering information on notable aspects and resources in the area, both socially, culturally, and environmentally. After collecting the data, recommendations were made to the community to help them develop their next plan.
- The aftermath of the signing of a collaborative agreement between the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), the Community Organization Development Institute (CODI), and the Community Organization Network, with the significant intention of promoting academic cooperation to respond to development directions and mutual benefits for all three parties, aiming to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Subsequently, on May 23, 2023, NIDA, in collaboration with CODI, launched a participatory research project titled “Social Innovation for Building Strong Communities: The Foundation of Thai Democracy Identity” (https://nida.ac.th/law-social-innovation/) .

- On June 19, 2023, representatives from CODI (Public Organization) and NIDA discussed with executives from the National Health Commission Office (NHCO). To create strategic partnerships under the research project titled “Social Innovations for Building Strong Communities as the Foundation of Thai Democratic Identity,” in collaboration with faculty and staff from the Faculty of Law (https://www.ahsouth.com/paper/1651).
