ความยั่งยืนของการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มในส่วนผู้ถือหุ้นของกิจการในตลาดหลักทรัพย์ไทย
Abstract
This report is to study annual profiles and the changes in Market Value Added, or
MVA, of stocks listed in the Securities Exchange of Thailand from 2004 to 2016. MVA is the
portion of the market value topped on the book value of stock. It is one of the indicators
used for measuring a company’s capacity to increase shareholders’ wealth. This study finds
that the top 20 companies ranked by their MVAs were usually big companies whose stocks
were included in the SET50 index in the same year. More than half of them were also
ranked in the top20 in the previous year. Moreover, the study finds that companies on the
MVA ranking were mostly in Energy & Utilities and Information & Communication Technology
sectors.
