NIDA Promotes Cross-Sectoral Dialogue and Knowledge Exchange to Advance SDG 17 through Global Conferences

            NIDA recognizes the importance of active engagement in academic and professional discussions related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On August 22–23, 2024, the Institute successfully hosted the National and International Conference of the National Institute of Development Administration (NIC-NIDA) under the theme “Redesigning Our Common Future for Sustainable Transformation.” The conference brought together distinguished SDG scholars and practitioners from leading institutions and agencies, including Prof. Justin Yifu Lin, Ph.D. (Peking University, China), Prof. Peter Warr, Ph.D. (Australian National University, Australia), Prof. Yongyuth Yuthavong, and Adjunct Prof. Krisana Kraisintu (Thailand), who participated as keynote speakers, plenary speakers, and panel discussants. The event featured a comprehensive exchange of ideas and insights, covering diverse SDG-related topics from policy formulation to practical implementation.

            In addition, NIDA Business School hosted the Pre-ICIS SIGDSA Symposium on December 14–15, 2024, under the theme “Emerging AI Platforms for Societal Good.” The symposium featured several prominent international scholars, including Prof. Ofir Turel (University of Melbourne, Australia), who served as keynote speakers and panel discussants.
