The opening ceremony and welcome reception of NIDA Global Leadership: Practical Cooperation of Thailand and China under the Silk Road Economic Belt was successfully organized by the Office of International Affairs and the Foreign Relations and Corporate Communication Division at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) from June 12 to 18, 2024.
On the morning of June 13, 2024, Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Ph.D., the President of NIDA, presided over the opening ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Associate Professor Sombat Kusumavalee, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, Associate Professor Prapon Sahapattana, Ph.D., Vice President for Administration and Digital Technology, Associate Professor Amornrat Apinunmahakul, Ph.D., Vice President for Planning and Community Engagement, Professor Wisakha Phoochinda, Ph.D.. Vice President for Research and Academic Services, Assistant Professor Dr. Pattrawut Charoenroop, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Associate Professor Asawin Nedpogaeo, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for Corporate Communications, Associate Professor Li Renliang. Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Graduate School of Social Development and Management Strategy, Assistant Professor Paithoon Monpanthong, Ph.D., Dean, Graduate School of Tourism Management, Associate Professor Warat Karuchit, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Planning and Development, Graduate School of Communication Arts and Management Innovation, Associate Professor Patthareeya Lakpetch, Ph.D., Director of Research Bureau, and Assistant Professpr Pornprom Suthatorn, Ph.D., Director of NIDA Wisdom Repository. In addition, Mrs. Noppawan Somkaisri. Chief of Training Services Section, Siripattana Training Center, Miss Nipa Chumsuk, Director of International Relations and Corporate Communication Division and OIA staff, along with representatives of Global New Idea Education Co., Ltd. also participated in the event.
The morning session included introductions from various Graduate Schools/Divisions/Centers, a campus tour, and a luncheon with NIDA administrators at the Hall of Fame on the 1st floor of the Siamboromrajakumari Building. Later in the evening, a Welcome Reception was held at the same location, presided over by Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Ph.D., NIDA President, together with NIDA Administrators and OIA staff. A group of 45 participants from the People’s Republic of China and the Kingdom of Thailand attended this both the morning and evening events, enjoyed cultural performances! We wish them a delightful, memorable and enriching experiences during their time here at NIDA. The successful completion of the aforementioned activities is commendable.
