Following the visit by representatives from Pagoda Projects, led by Mr. Paul Bailey, Regional Partnership Director, on February 25, 2025, to discuss potential academic collaboration, the office of International Affairs, the International Relations and Corporate Communication Division at NIDA hosted a workshop on June 9, 2025. The event, titled “Bridging Cultures: Understanding Thailand and Exploring Global Collaboration,” featured Associate Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs, as the keynote speaker.
This initiative is a direct outcome of the prior discussions between NIDA and Mr. Paul Bailey. The workshop offered an opportunity for 20 students from the United Kingdom—specifically from the University of Liverpool (ranked 165 in the QS World University Rankings 2025) and De Montfort University (ranked 711–720 in the same rankings)—to gain valuable insights and skills in intercultural communication, enhancing their ability to navigate and address the challenges of cross-cultural interactions effectively.
