On the evening of June 17, 2024, Associate Professor Juree Vichit-Vadakan, Ph.D., Chairperson of NIDA Council, presided over the closing ceremony and farewell reception. The ceremony was attended by Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, NIDA President, Associate Professor Sombat Kusumavalee, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Pattrawut Charoenroop, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Associate Professor Li Renliang. Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Graduate School of Social Development and Management Strategy, Miss Nipa Chumsuk, Director of International Relations and Corporate Communication Division and OIA staff, along with representatives of Global New Idea Education Co., Ltd. also participated in the event. Moreover, we are honored to have Admiral Navee Santikanavin, the former Chairman of the Naval Advisory Committee, and Admiral Jirapol Wongwit, Special Advisor to the Royal Thai Navy and Chairman of the Royal Navy Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee, attending the event.
The reception included congratulated ceremony, certificate presentation and a dinner with NIDA administrators at the Chom Wang Room on the 2nd floor of the Thai Royal Naval Institute, the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hal. A group of 45 participants from the People’s Republic of China and the Kingdom of Thailand attended this event, enjoyed Thai classical music songs and fabulous night scenery of the Grand Palace the Emerald Buddha Temple and Chao Phraya River from Chom Wang Room where the official reception was held for APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in 2022. The successful completion of the aforementioned activities are commendable.
