On May 28, 2024, NIDA hosted a study visit for faculty members and students from Brigham Young University, USA. The delegation, consisting of 24 members, was led by Assistant Professor Gregory S. Macfarlane, Ph.D. from the Civil and Construction Engineering Department, and Associate Professor James Packer Smith, Ph.D. The NIDA representatives who welcomed the delegation included Assistant Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Assistant Professor Sarawut Chansuwan, Ph.D., Director of NIDA Smart Compact City Center; Ms. Nipa Chumsuk, Director of International Relations and Corporate Communication Division; and other NIDA staff members. During their visit, the delegation toured the NIDA Smart Compact City Center (NIDA S2C°) and the Sukum Navaphan Library.
