On February 25, 2025, the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) welcomed a delegation from the United Nations, led by Dr. Anik Bhaduri, Executive Director of the Sustainable Water Future Programme. The UN representatives were greeted by Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Acting President of NIDA; Assistant Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs; and Professor Siwatt Pongpiachan, Ph.D., Director of the NIDA Center for Research & Development of Disaster Prevention & Management, along with the Office of International Affairs (OIA) team. The meeting took place in the Meeting Room on the 10th Floor of the Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building. Participants engaged in productive discussions, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing academic collaboration across various disciplines. Key topics explored during the meeting included providing venues for the Asia Science Mission for Sustainability demonstration program, faculty and scholar exchange programs, joint training initiatives, and collaborative research and publications. The discussions also opened up several promising avenues for future cooperation. Before the meeting, the UN delegation had the opportunity to tour the Thanat Khoman ASEAN Library, enriching their visit with insights into NIDA’s resources.
