On February 21, 2025, NIDA had the pleasure of hosting Professor Dato’ Dr. Toh Kian Kok, Pro Vice Chancellor of the KL Campus and Senior Vice President for Group Human Resources at UCSI University, Malaysia. He was warmly welcomed by NIDA’s President, Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Ph.D., as well as key members of the university’s leadership team, including Assistant Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Associate Professor Patthareeya Lakpetch, Ph.D., Director of the Research Bureau; Assistant Professor Sarawut Jansuwan, Ph.D., Director of the NIDA Smart Compact City Center (NIDA S2C°); and Assistant Professor Suvicha Pouaree, Ph.D., Director of the NIDA Poll Center, along with the Office of International Affairs team. The meeting took place in Inthraphuvasak Hall on the 8th floor of the Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building. During their discussions, both parties shared insights on strategies for enhancing global university rankings through recognized platforms such as the QS World University Rankings, the QS Sustainability Rankings, and SCImago Institutions Rankings. They also explored other collaboration opportunities, including a potential joint polling initiative between the NIDA Poll Center and UCSI Poll Research Center.
