On February 5, 2025, a delegation from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), led by Professor Dr. Wisakha Phoochinda, Vice President for Research and Academic Services, visited the United Nations office in Thailand. The purpose of this visit was to extend NIDA’s warm New Year wishes and to foster goodwill between the two organizations. During the meeting, the delegation had the pleasure of engaging with Ms. Michaela Friberg-Storey, UN Resident Coordinator in Thailand, and Ms. Marisa Panyachiva, Partnership and Development Finance Officer. In addition to conveying their greetings, the visit aimed to explore potential academic collaborations that could benefit both NIDA and the United Nations. This meeting underscores NIDA’s commitment to building strong partnerships and advancing academic initiatives that contribute to sustainable development.
The delegation included Assistant Professor Dr. Pattrawut Charoenroop, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Suvicha Pouaree, Director of the NIDA Poll Center, as well as members of the Office of International Affairs (OIA) team.
