A delegation from NIDA, led by Prof. Dr. Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, NIDA President, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sombat Kusumavalee, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, visited Fudan University (FDU) in Shanghai, China, on December 4, 2023. The delegation included representatives from various graduate schools at NIDA, such as the Graduate School of Public Administration (GSPA), Graduate School of Business Administration (NIDA Business School), Graduate School of Social Development and Management Strategy (GSDMS), Graduate School of Law (GSL), and Graduate School of Communication Arts and Management Innovation (GSCM).
They were warmly welcomed by the FDU executives, headed by Prof. Dr. Yijia Jing, Dean of Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) and Co-Director of LSE-Fudan Research Centre for Global Public Policy. During the visit, both sides engaged in fruitful discussions regarding potential areas of collaboration. FDU and Shanghai jointly host annual international academic conferences, providing an excellent platform for NIDA to actively participate in bilateral and multilateral forums involving China, Japan, Korea, and the UAE. Prof. Dr. Yijia Jing emphasized the potential for synergies, serving as a bridge between faculties and facilitating collaboration. Additionally, a network of business professionals supports joint training programs and study tours, further enhancing cooperative initiatives.
