NIDA delegates participated in the 2024 World Digital Education Conference in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China

            On Monday, January 29, 2024, Professor Dr. Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, the President, and Assistant Professor Dr. Pattrawut Charoenroop, the Assistant to the President for International Affairs, attended the World Digital Education Conference in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, at the invitation of the Minister of Education, Mr. Huai Jinpeng, from January 29 to 31, 2024. The conference was organized around the theme of “Digital Education: Application, Sharing, and Innovation,” featuring discussions on six main topics: 1. Improvement of digital literacy and competency of teachers, 2. Digitalizing education and developing a learning society, 3. Global trends in digital education development and evaluation indices, 4. Artificial Intelligence and digital ethics, 5. Challenges and opportunities of digital transformation for basic education, and 6. Digital governance in education. More than 400 global leaders, including ministers, politicians, ambassadors, directors, university presidents, and prominent figures from the public and private sectors attended the event. Their participation aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange in digital education, foster international cooperation, and strengthen collaboration within the World Digital Education Alliance network.
