            His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun graciously designated Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to represent His Majesty in presiding over the 45th Commencement Ceremony of the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) for the academic year 2023–2024 which took place on Monday, January 6th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m., at His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Auditorium, the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Serithai Road, Bangkapi, Bangkok.

            On August 21st, 2024, the Council of the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) convened its 8th meeting of 2024.  The Council unanimously decided to confer honorary degrees upon two distinguished individuals.

  1. Adjunct Professor Vorapot Visrutpich, Ph.D., Honorary Doctor of Law, Graduate School of Law
  2. Professor Michael A. McRobbie, Ph.D., Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Social Development Administration, Graduate School of Social Development and Management Strategy

            In regard to the 45th Royal Commencement Ceremony of the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), there were a total of 1,632 graduate students, which included 112 doctoral degree graduates and 1,520 master’s degree graduates.

            After the completion of the 45th Royal Commencement Ceremony, Professor  Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Ph.D., the President of the National Institute of Development Administration, along with NIDA’s executive team, had an audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to present a donation of 1,000,000 Baht (one million Baht) for royal charitable purposes, in accordance with Her Royal Highness’s wishes.
