NIDA Receives Invitation to APEC Conference in Vladivostok, Russian Federation

Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Ph.D., President of NIDA, has been invited by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation to attend the APEC Conference on Cooperation in Higher Education (APEC CCHE). This year’s conference is held under the main theme “Education for Sustainable Development.”

The APEC CCHE international conference has been held annually since 2012, with the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok, Russian Federation, serving as its continuous host. The 14th edition of the conference is scheduled to take place from September 3 to 6, 2025.

On September 3, 2025, Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Ph.D., along with Associate Professor Sarawut Jansuwan, Ph.D., Vice President for Administration and Digital Technology, and Associate Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs, participated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between NIDA and FEFU. The ceremony was presided over by FEFU President, Professor Boris Korobets.

Later that afternoon, the NIDA executive team met with FEFU administrators, led by Professor Evgeny Vlasov, Vice President for International Relations, and Professor Elena Gafforova, Vice President for Academic Affairs. The discussion focused on exploring potential collaborations in areas such as graduate education, joint research, and opportunities for expanding international cooperation. FEFU has extensive experience and long-standing relationships with countries across the Asia-Pacific region.
