Classes for Fundamental Studies of Thai Culture 1/2024

            The Office of International Affairs (OIA), International Relations, and Corporate Communication Division successfully organized the 15th Fundamental Studies of Thai Culture. The aim was to provide NIDA’s international students with knowledge about Thai culture, traditions, and etiquette, including cross-cultural communication. These classes were conducted in English by Associate Professor Kanokkarn Kaewnuch, PhD, and Assistant Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, PhD on September 3 – 4, 2024. In addition, classes were offered in Chinese by Associate Professor Li Renliang, PhD, on September 17 – 18, 2024. The program had two-hundred-sixty- seven student participants from eleven countries: the Republic of Union of Myanmar, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the People’s Republic of China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the Federal Republic of Russia, the Federal Republic of Germany, and Thailand.
