My study for the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Economics at the Graduate School of Development Economics, NIDA has been extremely admirable. The Graduate School of Development Economics has brilliant Faculty staff of international repute and a well-equipped library to enhance the teaching and learning process. The school challenges students to be self-determining and creative researchers by equipping students with economic theories and empirical analysis of economic models. The encouragement and support from the department were enough to inspire me to graduate despite the level of difficulty of the programme. The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programme in Economics has been very beneficial to me concerning my academic career and development. The programme has equipped me with the requisite knowledge to teach the subject; Economics at both undergraduate and graduate levels as well as to research and publish in high-impact scholarly journals. At the administrative level, I worked as the Head of the Department of Economics Education and am currently the Dean of the Faculty of Social Science Education.
