NIDA Visits Beijing to Enhance AI Collaboration and Meets with Deputy Mayor

On May 14, 2025, a delegation from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), led by Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Ph.D., Acting President of NIDA, visited Beijing Normal University (BNU) to advance academic cooperation under an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The visit focused on exploring the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance teaching, learning, and graduate-level research initiatives.

The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Chen Guangju, Vice Dean of the Smart Learning Institute, and Ms. Zheng Lanqin, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Educational Technology, along with senior administrators from BNU. Discussions centered on the development of intelligent education systems through strategic collaboration among industry, academia, and research institutions, with the goal of fostering sustainable technological innovation.

In the afternoon, the NIDA delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Ma Jun, Deputy Mayor of Beijing Municipality. The meeting, attended by senior municipal officials and university executives, focused on strengthening research and academic partnerships, including faculty and student exchange programs. The dialogue also highlighted opportunities to expand cooperation in AI, business administration, and management economics, while deepening mutual cultural understanding between Thailand and China.
