On January 24, 2025, NIDA warmly welcomed a delegation from China, including Professor Tong Lili, Ph.D., Deputy Director of the National Engineering Research Center at Beijing Normal University, and Mr. Wu Zhaobin from the Shenzhen Longhua Education and Science Research Institute. They were greeted by Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Ph.D., President of NIDA; Assistant Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Associate Professor Li Renliang, Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Graduate School of Social Development and Management Strategy; and the Office of International Affairs (OIA) team.
The meeting was held in Room 801 on the 8th floor of the Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building, where both parties engaged in discussions aimed at establishing academic collaboration, including joint research initiatives, and explored the potential applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. Following the meeting, the delegation visited the NIDA Smart Compact City Center (NIDA S2C°). There, they were welcomed by Assistant Professor Sarawut Jansuwan, Ph.D., the center’s Director, who provided an engaging presentation on its key activities and initiatives. The visit also included a tour of the Center for Capital and Asset Development and the Sukum Navapan Library.
