Holly Jolly: Celebrate the Christmas Spirit Around the World

On Monday, December 23, 2024, the Office of International Affairs (OIA) within the International Relations and Corporate Communication Division hosted the event “Holly Jolly: Celebrate the Christmas Spirit Around the World” in Room 805 on the 8th floor of the Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building. This gathering aimed to foster friendly relations among NIDA’s administrators, faculty members, staff, and both international and Thai students enrolled in NIDA’s English and international programs. Additionally, it served as a platform for cultural exchange and insights into Christmas traditions for international students. A total of sixty-three attendees participated in this joyous celebration.

The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished individuals, enhancing the occasion’s significance. Among the notable guests were Professor Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, Ph.D., President of NIDA; Associate Professor Prapon Sahapattana, Ph.D., Vice President for Administration and Digital Technology; Associate Professor Amornrat Apinunmahakul, Ph.D., Vice President for Planning and Community Engagement; Associate Professor Achakorn Wongpreedee, Ph.D., Dean of the Graduate School of Public Administration; and Assistant Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs along with the OIA staff.

The program began with live music and Christmas carols, featuring performances by NIDA’s Thai students from the Graduate School of Business Administration and the Graduate School of Communication Arts and Innovation Management. This was followed by a talent showcase in which international students from Thailand, the People’s Republic of China, and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal shared their unique Christmas experiences.
