On November 25, 2024, Associate Professor Li Renliang, Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the Graduate School of Social Development and Management Strategy; Assistant Professor Chulaporn Kobjaiklang, Ph.D., Deputy Director at the Sustainable Development and Sufficiency Economy Studies Center; and Assistant Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs, along with the OIA Team, formally welcomed a delegation from the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences (BASS), led by Prof. Yang Kui, Ph.D., Vice President.
The meeting was held in Room 802 of the Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building. During this meeting, participants engaged in meaningful discussions and expressed a strong desire to deepen academic collaboration in various areas. Topics included enhancing the progress of the Belt and Road Initiative, strategies for managing the metropolitan areas of Bangkok and Beijing, approaches to promoting Chinese culture in Thailand, joint research projects, and exchange programs for postdoctoral fellowships, among other promising collaboration opportunities for the future. Following the meeting, the delegation enjoyed a tour of the Thanat Khorman ASEAN Library.
