UNESCO and NIDA Discuss Strategies for Sustainable Educational Cooperation in Mainland Southeast Asia

On October 30, 2024, Mr. Nyi Nyi Thaung, a Program Specialist from the Education Policy, Planning and Management Team, along with Mr. Masaya Noguchi, a Consultant representing UNESCO (Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education), met with Assistant Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., the Assistant to the President for International Affairs, at the Office of International Relations, National Institute of Development Administration. During the meeting, the representatives from UNESCO discussed their role as a representative of the Ministry of Education of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The focus was on enhancing regional international cooperation to strengthen academic collaboration and develop networks for public sector personnel in Mainland Southeast Asian (Indochina). The ultimate goal is to foster sustainable international cooperation in this region.
