On March 6, 2024, NIDA officially welcomed Professor Hiroo Takahashi, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Hakuoh University and Former President of the Japan Society for Business Ethics (JABES), along with the JABES Team. The meeting took place in Meeting Room 803 on the 8th Floor of the Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building. During the meeting, Assistant Professor Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Associate Professor Hiroki Goto from the Graduate School of Language and Communication; and Assistant Professor Pornprom Suthatorn, Ph.D., Director of the Innovation and Transformation Center, along with OIA staff, discussed NIDA’s Sustainable Development mission. They also explored potential academic collaborations, such as inviting the JABES Team to participate in the 2024 NIC-NIDA conference, and identifying areas of interest to potentially sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the future. After the meeting, a campus tour was organized, including visits to the NIDA library and NIDA Museum.
