Official Visit by the Delegates from the University of Pittsburgh, United States

            On January 16, 2024, NIDA (National Institute of Development Administration) had the privilege of hosting a visit from Dr. Carissa Slotterback – Dean of the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) and Ms. Margaret K. McMillion – Alumna of GSPIA. Representatives from NIDA included Assoc. Prof. Danuvas Sagarik, Ph.D. – Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of the Graduate School of Public Administration; Asst.Prof. Li Renliang, Ph.D. – Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Graduate School of Social Development and Management Strategy; Ms. Nipa Chumsuk – Director of International Relations and Corporate Communication Division, together with other NIDA staff members, were also present to welcome the distinguished delegation. The official visit by the delegates from the University of Pittsburgh, United States, was a preliminary meeting aimed at exploring a broad scope of collaboration between both institutions.

            This included discussing potential student exchange programs, projects involving visiting professors and scholars, study trips in both the United States and Thailand, as well as organizing international academic conferences. At the close of the meeting, Asst. Prof. Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs, graciously presented a token of appreciation to the distinguished delegation. Following this, the delegation enjoyed a guided campus tour of the Sukum Navaphan Library, facilitated by Ms. Panchalee Ruengsamutr, the Library and Information Center staff.
