My most impressive experience with NIDA #1

By Worawut Pakdeeburut (Doctoral Degree Alumni Graduate School of Communication Arts and Management Innovation, Class 5)

I went to NIDA for the first time in 2005 for a brief training session. At the time, NIDA was an educational institute without many of the grand buildings like what we see today. Back then, I remember NIDA with lots of trees, clean, and peaceful. Although I had only visited there in such a short time, I was already impressed, and in my mind, would love to continue my study there if given a chance.

In 2014, I enrolled in a doctoral program in NIDA’s Communication Arts and Management Innovation as I’d wished. I also applied for and won a scholarship from NIDA. I was very glad and impressed. Once I started, I was never absent. I was very determined and attentive. I dedicated all my efforts to completing the program. In addition to my own determination, I sensed the positive energy fully radiated across this institute, including the curriculum, the faculty, and academic support, and the facilities such as library, computer labs, IT system, cafeteria, and other aspects that provide maximum convenience for students. Moreover, the campus environment is very pleasant and beautiful with a diversity of vegetations and trees, convenient, clean and beautiful buildings. These provide such a support and motivation for students to complete their programs. Even though my doctoral program was very intensive with independent studies, academic articles, and high-level research, I was able to accomplish my goals.

With determination and perseverance, I graduated in 2018 and received my diploma in the graduation commencement ceremony with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in 2019. Until today my memories of that day from all the pictures were still engraved in my mind, never forgotten. From my heart I can honestly that I love this institute very much. My most impressive memories of NIDA are every second that I was here. I was able to develop my knowledge in various ways. NIDA truly deserves its name in Development Administration since it does focus on development and create future leaders and change agents, fully immersed in its philosophy “wisdom for sustainable development.”

Although I may have graduated for quite some time, I was awarded by NIDA “Alumni Recognition Award 2022” with my achievement in receiving a commemorative certificate for the Outstanding Book Award in 2021 by Ministry of Education. This is why I am one of the former students who love NIDA very much. My most impressive memory of NIDA is all the memories that make NIDA the reputable, prestigious, and high-quality academic institution that is very well accepted nationally and internationally.
