On February 21, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Sombat Kusumavalee – Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Aree Manosuthikit – Assistant to the President for International Affairs and Ms. Patchara Chaiwattanakulkit – Foreign Relations Officer of OIA officially welcomed Prof. Dr. Cihan Cobanoglu, McKibbon Endowed Chair, Dean of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Director of M3 Center, Director of International Programs from the University of South Florida (USF), USA.
The activities prepared for Prof. Cobanoglu included (1) a presentation given by Assistant Professor Dr. Sarawut Jansuwan, Director of NIDA Smart Compact City Center (NIDA S2C°), on NIDA Smart Compact City Projects (NIDA S2C°) and the theme of sustainable development at the organizational and community levels on M floor of Sayam Boromrajakumari Building, (2) a LIVE Zoom with NIDA students on the topic “Opportunities for Double Degree, Exchange Student & Paid Internship” and (3) a lively discussion on future academic collaboration with the Vice President and Assistant to the President at Meeting Room 803, 8th Fl., Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building.
This day also witnessed the key highlight of Prof. Cobanoglu’s visit. That is, the Graduate School of Tourism Management (GSTM) held the MOA Signing Ceremony with University of South Florida (USF), USA, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Paithoon Monpanthong – Dean of the Graduate School of Tourism Management (GSTM) and Associate Professor Dr. Kanokkarn Kaewnuch – Assistant to Dean for International Affairs at GSTM, Ratchapruek Building.
