The Office of International Affairs and the Foreign Relations and Corporate Communication Division, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), successfully organized the NIDA 9th International Summer Camp on the topic of “Creative Tourism and Global Leadership for Sustainability” during July 16 – 24, 2023. In the morning session of July 17, 2023, Professor Dr. Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, NIDA President presided over the opening ceremony together with Associate Professor Dr. Sombat Kusumavalee, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, and Associate Professor Dr. Aree Manosuthikit, Assistant to the President for International Affairs and OIA staff in the Hall of Fame, 1st floor, Sayam Boromrajakumari Building. This ceremony was followed by Ice-breaking activity and campus tour in the afternoon. In the evening, a welcome reception was held at Bangkapi Room, 11th floor, Kantary House Bangkok and presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Aree Manosuthikit, Assistant to the President for International Affairs along with OIA staff. The delightful group of 17 participants from People’s Republic of Bangladesh and People’s Republic of China joined both the morning and evening welcoming event. A Thai classical dance, Bangladesh steps and Chinese performance were also presented. We hoped they had an enjoyable and memorable time with us.
