THE Impact Rankings​ 2023 Results

Interview: Prof. Dr. Tippawan Lorsuwannarat

NIDA has been ranked the world’s top 101-200 for Decent work and Economic Growth (SDG 8) and nationally ranked 3^rd, in addition to several other goals that have been ranked well beyond our expectation.

I would like to thank Khon Kaen University which has been working continuously and producing excellent SDG work and report for many years. Last year, Dr. Monchai Duangjinda Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, generously shared with us the knowledge of how to write an SDG report successfully. We deeply thank him for encouraging us to submit the report even though we had never done it before and felt so unprepared with only 2 – 3 months remaining before the submission deadline.

Our faculty members from all graduate schools, staff members from various units as well as our management teams collectively devoted their efforts to producing NIDA’s first Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) report now available on our new website (www.nida.ac.th). The Times Higher Education rankings, a global university ranking agency drawing on the United Nations’ SDGs, base their ranking on an institute’s research, instruction, academic services, policies and other measures.

Following the announcement of the official rankings, we are delighted and deeply proud of our working teams, especially their joint efforts in making NIDA ranked 10^th out of 65 institutions nationwide and ranked 401-600^th out of 1,591 institutions worldwide.

I would like to genuinely thank and praise the chairs of all the sub-committees, including Associate Professor Dr. Ketkanda Jaturongkachoke, Associate Professor Dr. Amornrat Apinunmahakul.
