On November 17, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Aree Manosuthikit – Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Paithoon Monpanthong – Dean of Graduate School of Tourism Management, and Associate Professor Dr. Kanokkarn Kaewnuch – Vice Dean for International Affairs attended “Forum on Cultural Tourism and Innovative Entrepreneurship Exchange Activity for Youth from SCO Countries” at Kunming University, China. Two hundred representatives of tourism departments, institutions and enterprises from SCO countries and Yunnan Province, experts and scholars from universities, private cultural and tourism practitioners and entrepreneurial youth. Distinguished guests included, for instance, officials of SCO Secretariat, leaders of Kunming University and Foreign Affairs Office of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture People’s Government. In addition, on November 17-20, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Paithoon Monpanthong and Associate Professor Dr. Kanokkarn Kaewnuch also attended 2023 China International Travel Mart at Kunming Dianchai International Convention and Exhibition Center and later departed to Dali City to visit various tourist sites and centers to understand different aspects of tourism in this city. This seminar trip was made very successfully possible by Kunming University and Shang Education in Kunming, China.
