On August 30, 2023, Professor Dr. Tippawan Lorsuwannarat – NIDA President, Assistant Professor Dr. Aree Manosuthikit – Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and OIA Team, officially welcomed Dr. Jonathan Lembright, Regional Director, Higher Education (Asia Pacific) and Mr. Sinchai Lekwanitchakul, Senior Assessment Supervisor (TOEFL, Southeast Asia) from the Institute of International Education (IIE), Thailand at the Meeting Room 901, Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building.
Later, both Mr. Jonathan Lembright and Mr. Sinchai Lekwanitchakul were also received by Associate Professor Dr. Kasma Suwanarak – Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Tewich Sawetaiyaram – Associate Dean for Administration Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Sarut Supasiraprapa – Associate Dean for Planning and Development Affairs, and administrative staff from Graduate School of Language and Communication at the Meeting Room 13th Floor, Siam Boromrajakumari Building.
Both sides had an engaging discussion and are looking forward to deepening academic collaboration in various areas, namely recruitment of US-funded scholarship students from Myanmar to study at NIDA, TOEFL ITP test administration, and other new and fruitful collaboration possibilities in the future. The meetings were followed by the library tour at Thanat Khoman ASEAN Library given by Miss Chitjai Thongganjana and Miss Upsorn Nuchanetr, personnel from the Library and Information Center.
