On December 20, 2023, NIDA had the privilege of hosting a delegation from the Georgia Tech Shenzhen Institute (GTSI). We extend our warmest welcome to Prof. Zhiya Wang, the Director for Academic Affairs, and Ms. Shuo Cheng from GTSI in the People’s Republic of China. The meeting took place in the professional setting of Meeting Room 801, located on the 8th Floor of the Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building.
During the course of our meeting, Asst. Prof. Pattrawut Charoenroop, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Siwiga Dusadenoad, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Pramote Kuacharoen, Ph.D., Director of the Master of Science Program in Computer Science and Information Systems and Director of the Master of Science Program in Cybersecurity Risk Management; and Assoc. Prof. Surapong Auwatanamongkol, Ph.D., a faculty member of the Graduate School of Applied Statistics and OIA Staff, engaged in discussions on diverse collaborative activities.
These activities include internships, summer camps, international camps, joint research projects, co-teaching opportunities, participation in international conferences as keynote speakers, and scholarships. Our foremost objective is to cultivate a robust partnership that facilitates the exchange of knowledge and expertise between our institutions.
