Abstract

This study aimed to develop the measurement pattern of skills in ethics, continuous learning, and
teamwork, using situational measurement for employee selection to work in a printing media company, as well as
investigate the quality of measurement constructed by the researcher. This study conducted study with 350
employees in a printing media company, conducted data analysis to find the relationship between the old
measurement pattern of specific standard qualifications and the new measurement pattern as constructed by the
researcher, as well as inspected the quality of the measurement pattern as constructed by the researcher. The
study findings revealed that, for the relationship between variables using Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient and for
the model to measure the skills in ethics, continuous learning, and teamwork, all variables had the relationship of
statistical significance (p-value < 0.05). It showed that the variables of skills in three dimensions namely ethics, continuous learning, and teamwork had sufficient relationship. It would also be appropriate to develop the three variables into the measurement pattern used as a tool to screen efficient employees and for more convenient use.
