Abstract

Earlier studies have shown the diverse evaluative parameters for performance evaluation of a joint venture. These parameters include qualitative factors. However, there profoundly exists a lack of empirical evidence regarding the role of partner trust in the performance evaluation of a joint venture project. The present study is, therefore, an attempt to explore the relationship between mutual trust and joint venture performance. The meta-analysis has been performed on the selective dataset to check for homogenous view emerging from available literature. Systematic literature review of previous studies of journals having more than 1.0 impact factor score was considered and the studies were compared and contrasted to provide a research direction. A homogenous view emerges from this study, bridging the gap between its perceived roles as the evaluative parameter for the joint venture performance. There is no comprehensive meta-analysis (CMA) on mutual trust affecting the performance of a joint venture.
