The aim of this study was to investigate the importance, quantity and sequential predictors of rights respecting communications behavior focusing on social media with social situational factors, psychological traits and psychological states. This research was a correlational-comparative study based on the interactionism model as a conceptual research framework. A sample of 702 undergraduate 3rd and 4th year. Random sampling by multi-stage quota random sampling was done. Multiple Regression (enter and stepwise method) and Three-Way Analysis of Variance were used to analyze the data. Data were analyzed in the total sample group and in the various 12 subsamples group. Twelve independent variables were found to be predictive of the adhering communications behavior focusing on social media. 1) In the total sample group, results show all independent variables together explained 64.6%. The important predictors were the favorable action tendency using social media, perceived behavior control in using social media, future orientation and self-control, loving and reasoning child rearing practices, moral identity and collectivism. 2) In the subsamples group, the variables could account for 58.1% to 69.7%. The highest predictive percentage of 71.9% was found in the group of undergraduate students in science majors. In addition, the students risk group with the fewer adhering communications behavior focusing on social media such as male student, the students with a major education, science and communication arts, the students with a low GPA. These results have important implications for further research and promoting interventions for adhering communications behavior focusing on social media.
