The objective of this research is to study elements of commu-nication signs in the content of Hikaru No Go comics can motivate to inspiring initiative and development of readers that same or different of the assessment of meaning codes under different readers’ capital. This research uses a qualitative method, processing data using in-depth interviews with 20 readers through the notions of storytelling, semiology, and inspiration to support the research in the analysis section of the inspiration in the content of Hikaru No Go comicsAs the result of the investigation, the inspiration in the content of Hikaru No Go comics can be formulated into 5 types: (1) inspiring initiative to play siege known as the game of Go by means of teaching naturally and creating an attraction with scenes and perspectives; (2) inspiring in create momentum by means of reflect on force towards goals, reflect on force inside oneself and reflect on force from others; (3) inspiring in the two dimensions of culture by means of communi-cate through reality and cultural reflection; (4) inspiring in development of the game of Go by means of giving ideas and perspectives of the game of Go and creating practice; and (5) inspiring in development of creativity by means of hiding special details and showing development by drawing. Decoding of the reader additionally shows development by storytelling and learning from a variety of decoding of meanings in the content of comics.
