Abstract

Objectives of this research were to study work enjoyment, engagement and social perception of pretty girls and stakeholders in Bangkok, conducted by qualitative method collected data by In-depth interviews, focus group discussion, observation, and document analysis. 18 key informants were purposefully selected from 12 pretty girls and 6 stakeholders and analyzed by content descriptive interpretation

Findings were that Pretty girls were happy to work in relationship with themselves and others. Love of work arose from oneself more than from others which ws the same as work achievement and pretty girls also felt they were accepted. In the case of work Engagement, pretty girls were enthusiastic in solving the problems, rather than letting go of the problems. They proudly dedicated and felt that the work was a part of their lives which caused by their own achievements, receiving compliments, and having good relationships with co-workers. The pretty girls had their views that their intimates and outsiders didn’t accept this kind of works unlike the outsiders. For stakeholders had view that the society opened up wider about works and respect of the body rights. However, there were still impacts on pretty girls, but in the better way.
